As small business owners, we have had many more struggles than we have had in previous years and as a business that is still young, it has been hard. It seems like so many of the usual routes to grow your business have been unavailable and in some cases, small businesses were not able to do what is is that we do and for me and probably others as well it has been frustrating.
One thing that we have going for us as small businesses; we can be flexible and make changes with relative ease because we are the command chain. What does that flexibility look like, maybe it is opening another side business, maybe it is as simple as doing all meetings via phone or video chat, or maybe it means creative scheduling to balance child care and work.
One thing that I have been doing besides juggling child care and work is learning new things that I can use for my business myself or as additional services that I can offer. I keep reading up on various social media sites and how to use them for business. I have even started a Pinterest board even though I am not quite sure what I want to do with it, it is not private so while I am not actively using it for marketing at this point it can be found. I am even including a link here, so it is passive until I find a good direction for it.
I have tried my hand at video tutorials sharing what I have learned about Facebook, but I am open to doing other videos I just haven’t figured out what would be of interest. Drop a comment on my Facebook page or email me if you have an idea that you would be interested in.
Additionally, if you have been thinking that you want to add some content to your site or social media but are still trying to figure it all out, schedule a free consultation with me to talk about your plans, more than likely we can come up with a plan to benefit both you and I. Flexibility is one of the core values I have with my business because we are not all at the same place at the same time, I certainly have some package deals because sometimes that is the best way to go, but I am always open to trying something new.
If you are thinking of any of the following contact me today and we can come up with a plan to help us both thrive.
- Formatting a book for Kindle Direct Publishing
- Creating image posts for Facebook or Instagram
- Assistance with scheduling items on Facebook
- Curating a list of blogs or posts that you can share on your business page
